Festival of Virgen del Rosario celebrated on 7 October.
Nearby, you can visit the Almanzora caves to look at the formations formed by centuries of dripping water.
Some like to travel to the Cape of Gata and the Alpujarra region of Almeria whilst others go to the naturist beaches of Vera.

a double bed and nine single rooms.
The Mojacar Parador has a magnificent conference centre fully equipped with the modern aids.

Stay 27-30 September 2014. This was our third stay in Parador Mojaca. We have stayed at twelve other Paradors and we experienced good service and accommodation as usual.Staff were polite and helpful in all respects.Unfortunately we did find that the guests in the room above did not realise that there were occupied room below. We visited local restaurants which are plentiful so all in all an enjoyable stay. Gracias.

We stayed at Parador de Mojacar from 7 till 10 of sept. We, and our son and daughter-in-law had a wonderful time! The staf was friendly and helpful. The catering was excellent, All day to obtain opportunities for eating and drinking. Even by the pool. On arrival, after checking in, the suitcases were brought to the room by a staff member. We walked along and didn't have to search where room 617 and 618 might be. None of us can say anything negative about the location or services. As far as we are concerned: Keep up the good work !! And see you soon!

Stayed at the hotel for a week towards end September. Most impressed with hotel standard in public areas, rooms and helpfulness of the staff.Unfortunately, no tea/coffee making facility in room, for such a well appointed hotel this was very poor. The serving of dinner at 20.30, is totally unacceptable for a hotel of this grade, the alternative of eating in the bar is not the solution, which the hotel suggested. All in all disappointed with the hotel for the reasons stated.
