The Parador is on one of the oldest golf courses in the region which was designed by Tom Simpson, the architect of Turnberry and Muirfield courses in Scotland, and opened in 1925.

The decoration of the living rooms, the lobby and the dining room are of light tones that are characteristic of the Costa del Sol area.

Among the dishes of the Parador restaurant, the following are recommended:

"Sopa de rape malaguena" which is a fish soup;
"Pescaitos fritos", small fish which are fried and eaten whole;
