|Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of September. It's about 12k outside the town. It's a superb location in the Pecos area. Simply beautiful place. Mountains ,deep valleys, tumbling rivers, unspoilt villages, great roads. Walking cycling motoring brilliant place The hotel is at the end of a road in a superb valley. There are a host of camping sites alongside the river. Next to the hotel is the base station for the cable car that takes up to the ridge where there is simply breathtaking panoramas and there are a cross cross of long distance foot and cycle paths . And there's a cafe. The hotel is big and spacious, plenty of relaxing lounges. The rooms are again spacious and well equipped. The beds large and relaxing. I cant imagine that there is a room without a superb view. Front desk service was good. The small bar was poorly staffed. No one seemed to be responsible, any staff member who came through needed to be collared into providing service, without great enthusiasm. Breakfast was unmemorable . Dinner?.Reasonable value. Not bad, occasionally good for individual elements, just lacking pazazz or any serving style , friendly, just not gourmet, exciting or stylish. It just seemed understaffed and staff morale is suffering because of it. It felt a bit 1960s English country house, with unadventurous Spanish food. Would I stay there again? Yes yes yes. And I'd eat in Fuentes De and get taxis.|

|We stayed for 1 night recently and enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant very much. Anchovies with roasted peppers, green salad starters, roasted lamb, and tea mousse were all so delicious.|
