The Ceuta Parador occupies a modern building backing on to the ancient Royal Walls in the Plaza de Nuestra Senora de Africa, the nerve centre of Ceuta. Its position offers a magnificent panoramic view of the sea, the historical centre of the city and even of the coast of the Iberian peninsula.

An impregnable fortress for centuries, the vaults of the former Artillery Stores were constructed on the city walls, and are now redecorated as the Suites.

The bedrooms boasting exceptional views of the sea, overlook a garden filled with palm trees and a well cared for swimming pool.

Within the interior of the Parador are conserved representative elements of numerous civilizations, with Arabic influence predominating. The furniture offers a classical and at the same time modern touch.

The dining room is decorated with abundant plants. The chef specializes in the traditional cuisine of this enclave which combines the dishes of Andalusia and Arabic dishes. This results in dishes using the many varieties of fish caught locally, meat in various sauces and also the spicy arab dishes.

There is also a special menu for those who have to have a glutin free diet.

When in Ceuta make sure to visit the Grand Bazaar, which has a huge number of shops available. Also visit the cathedral, the Shrine of Nuestra Senora de Africa, the Trench of San Felipe, and the Royal Walls.

The former stronghold atop Mount Hacho has been converted into the headquarters of the Anti-aircraft Artillery.
A new culture awaits in Tetuan and Tangiers where you will feel the exoticism of Africa and its people.

Enjoy the feasts and celebrations that are offered all year round: The carnivals in February, Easter in March/April, the ”Cruces” in May, and the Corpus Christi which is the only day when the very old Royal Standard, embroidered by a Portuguese queen is shown.

There is also the Sailors Pilgrimage of Virgen del Carmen on June 16th, and the Main Feasts on August 5th, which includes the procession of the Virgin of Africa, a carving donated to the city by the king of Portugal Henry in 1420.

The Parador of Ceuta luxurious tropical garden and the excellent climate invite one to sunbathe and swim in the seasonal pool. The highlight of most evenings is the exotic sunset over the African continent.

The Ceuta Parador has sixty seven twin bedded rooms, four rooms with double beds, six single rooms and twenty nine suites.

All bedrooms have a private bathroom and also a telephone, safe, satellite television, TV canal plus and a mini bar.

There is heating, air conditioning, piped music, restaurant and bar, garden, lift, currency exchange, parking facilities (without security and limited places) and seasonal swimming pool. Parador Ceuta also has conference facilities.

Distance from the nearest airport is approximately 100 kms, train station is 40 kms away and the nearest port is 2 kms away.

The traditional restaurant is now closed. Meals are served at the 'Gastrobar' with an informal but complete offer. Breakfast and event services will still be served at the Parador.

Pets are not allowed in this Parador.
