As many have commented this parador is more contemporary than the others, with the exception of the one in Cadiz. The staff was really helpful - they located our camera lense at the parador in Arcos and had it fast-shipped to Antequerra. They were very accommodating. We stayed here b/c the parador in Granada was fully booked... and as much as we both would've preferred staying in Granada, Antequerra was fine. We found the most interesting place to visit were the dolmans on the outskirts of town.

My wife and I stayed for one night in October. The room was lovely and the pool was just what we needed. However, our stay was spoiled by a staff strike, which meant there was no proper breakfast, just a dismal dry affair. An apology of some kind would have been appreciated and a partial refund should, I think, have been offered.
