Parador Tui
The Parador in the historic city of Tui, on the Portuguese border, is a faithful reproduction of a pazo or Galician country house, in a setting of mountains and rivers.
This establishment is ideal for sports and activities in natural surroundings.
With its granite walls and floors, ceilings, beams and staircases of local chestnut wood, it recreates the typical pazo of the area.
The gentle colours and rustic furnitire create a welcoming atmosphere in the comfortable bedrooms. There is also a splendid swimming pool and a beautiful garden.

We stayed here for two nights so we could have a day sunbathing by a pool and were so glad to have the extra time to really explore the old town streets of Tui and to discover that we could walk there easily from the hotel. Our room was quiet and comfortable, the bathroom luxurious and the breakfast delicious. The views from the gardens and from the cafe terrace are wonderful and it’s very peaceful.
While walking from Porto to Santiago de Compostella, we stayed one night in the Parador de Tui. Everything about the hotel was wonderful, it’s location, friendly reception on arrival and during stay, lovely views and most comfortable bedrooms. The hotel was quiet and the big breakfast sent us on our walking way, smiling ! A gem of a hotel.
