If your travels through Spain take you to Toledo (which they should), stay nowhere else but here. The view is spectacular from every room, the staff is helpful and the accommodations and amenities of the hotel are superb. Enjoy!!

  2. Mark C says:

We stayed only one night (in late June). A beautiful place with spectacular views, great service and a welcome that is more than a place to sleep but actually enhances your visit to Toledo. I could not recommend it too highly.
One suggestion: you need a detailed map on your website showing how to drive from the highway to the hotel. We lost a full hour trying to get to the place

  3. Hans-Jakob Berge says:

My wife and I had a very comfortable stay i the beginning of june. The room was fantastic and the view spectacular.
The restaurant and the reception staff where friendly and make us feel welcome. No annoying sound
    The location of the hotel
    Proximity to a town
Any places visited near the hotel
    Etc.

Our stay at the Parador Toledo could not have been more wonderful. Aside from the exquisite views, the restaurant served fascinating, delicious, and varied menu throughout our stay. We loved eating dinner outdoors on the patio as the day finally cooled down. The walk into Toledo isn’t long – takes about 25 minutes – and is so scenic (my 10 and 13 year old daughters did this with no complaint). Bring binoculars to see the swans on the river and birds soaring overhead.

  5. NS says:

My wife and I stayed at the Paradores Toledo on 24 and 25 June 2010. We believe the stay at this Parador was the best part of our visit to Toledo (and perhaps Spain as well). The view is unbelievable and the hotel is very luxurious in all aspects: the room, the bar and restaurant, as well as the overall level of service. The food quality is pretty good too.

Although, taking a taxi is the easiest way to get to Toledo, we discovered that there is also a bus to the central square near the Alcazar in Toledo. The bus stop is only a few hundred meters from the Parador and the route goes by interesting points along the periphery of Toledo too.

  6. Jones and Musgraves says:

Our first visit to the Parador at Toledo was also our first visit to Spain. There could not have been a better beginning.
The welcome was warm; getting to our rooms was easy; the view from our balcony was all that we could have hoped for.
An evening drink on our balcony or on the terrace rounded off the day which had started with a sumptuous breakfast.
Thank you for the experiece. We look forward to returning.

  7. Rasmussen, Denmark says:

We (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed 2 days at Toledo Parador in June 2010. The view is excelent, the rooms are very clean and the size works OK – also with 2 kids. The charming atmosphere, the good service and the high quality restaurant did also contributed to a very good staying. We will be back!

  8. lorraine says:

We stayed for 4 nights after dropping off our daughter for summer school here in Toledo. This by far during our whole journey in Spain was our favorite place. We had an amazing view of the beautiful lights of Toledo right out our window. We took time from our busy schedule to sit out by the pool with a glass of wine. Do not be afraid of the distance to Toledo central. We hd no trouble grabbing a quick taxi and the view was completly worth the wait for the taxi.

  9. Virginia Riscigno says:

Stayed in Toledo and loved the setting. The breakfast was outstanding and all the help was cordial and helpful. The problem was they said it was an easy walk to town and it was a bit more than that.

  10. T Blackburn says:

We stayed for the second time at the Toledo Parador in late June 2010. A wonderful visit, room overlooking the pool and city. Beautiful sunsets from the bar and restaurant, and helpful staff as always. We love the simplicity of the Paradors, the wonderful breakfasts and regional dinners they prepare. There was a small bus for a few euros to take us to the city each day, and a reasonable cab back. My children love the playing in the pool after a day of touring the city. The only suggestion I’d have is that the Parador manage the bees/wasps by the pool – they weren’t there last year, but quite a few were flying about this year. Nonetheless, we’ll be back, again.

  11. Charles & Germaine Field says:

We first stayed at Parador Toledo in 1969. We returned this year to find our favourite Inn beautifully maintained and welcoming. It is larger now than it was, but the experience is intimate. We especially love the view of the ‘magical city’. Dining was also very pleasurable. The staff are very kind and thoughtful.

  12. Manuel & Linda Cruz says:

We were celebrating our 40th wedding aniversary. We had a wonderful time. Everyone at the parador was great. They would go out of their way to help, we loved all of them from the hotel manager to the maid service. The area is great to visit, Toledo, Consuegra and the other surrounding country side. Our breakfast was included and we are glad it was. All was fresh and very tasty. Dinner at the parador was also good. What we both agree on most of all, what made it, was the Spaniards, muy AMABLE, great people every where we went.

  13. Edward Heustess says:

Spain has a great opportunity for visitors to experience unique and beautiful locations through their paradore program. We stayed at the Toledo paradore and the staff was top notch, the view was unbelievable, and the food exquisite. Our room was large, comfortable, clean and quiet. I could spend hours sitting on the balcony enjoying the view and the cool breeze blowing off the river while sipping a local beverage. I highly recommend to my family and friends that they experience at least one paradore on their trips to Spain.

  14. Grahame Hughes says:

Toledo is yet another lovely Parador but has real real’wow’ factor with the splendid view.
The food was really good, we had a lovely room, the staff were friendly and we can’t wait to go back

  15. Ole Chr. Jacobsen says:

A fantastic stay – despite of bad weather in febr. Had a problem finding the way to the parador due to closed roads and lack of alternative signs! At arrival, very good service, Were there with a friend- couple, and had both excellent rooms! Ask for a room with a terrace which overlook the old town of Toledo at night! It`s worth the extra cost! Take a taxi to town in the evening. Don`t bother to drive, find a parking place etc, ! Visit the cathredral and the old town!

  16. Samson says:

Sorry to say, we were not able to get your place until late in the
evening and had to leave rather early to make connections, but were
able to walk around and see just what a BEAUTIFUL place it was. We all
commented that we would love to come back and spend several days to do things more liesurely. Perhaps we will one day. All in all, we had a
    wonderful time.

  17. Mayumi Izumiyama says:

  18. Jude Pettitt says:

We loved the parador. It was an oasis of calm on a hot day and brilliant to sleep in at night. It was a short trip to town in a cab ( we never quite managed to walk the distance – too hot ) but always looked forward to returning to opur room with a view to the pool and blissful quiet luxury. Would highly recommend a parador stay as respite in every trip to Spain.

  19. Mrs G Wilson says:

My late husband and I visited the Parador in Toledo 25 years ago on several occasions and were completely entranced by the location, ambiance, service and the spectacular views. In the past several years I have stayed twice and the last time, November, I was disappointed. Somehow it seemed to have become slightly rundown and just isn’t the same anymore. The staff at all of your Paradors are excellent and the whole set up is run efficiently and for a reasonable price and bookings are handled with excellence. As we had travelled some considerable distance we chose to eat in the restaurant as we also did when we stayed in Salamanca in October and at various other Paradors over the years, each time we say we will not do it again. Meals in the Paradors are expensive and not really very good.

  20. Megan & Dale says:

The view was spectacular and the staff was professional and friendly. While the rooms were comfortable and bright, there was a terrible odor when the heat was turned on.
The town itself is utterly charming.

  21. Jeff & Cindi says:

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel! Amazing views of Toledo. Quiet. Clean/bright/modern rooms. Comfy beds. Nice usable balconies off the rooms and the common areas (e.g., restaurant). Non-smoking interior — nice to find in Spain. Wonderful food in the restaurant. Most professional, friendly and helpful staff we encountered on our 3 week trip. With Toledo only a 30 minute hop from Madrid via AVE (the high speed train), an overnight or two day trip is a simple affair. Can’t wait to visit again :)

  22. Catherine says:

Parador Toledo is in a stunning location, complemented by wonderful outdoor decks and dining areas that allow full access to the great view. Its classic Spanish interior was quiet & restful. Our 23 year old daughter loved escaping to the luxury of the parador after 5 months in youth hostels. It gave our family a unique experience of all travelling together for a couple of weeks. Her single accommodation was equal to ours. We loved the pool & had to spend an afternoon just enjoying the view. The attendant even leant us goggles so we could swim laps.

  23. bernier says:

all was fine , only the swiming was closed, unfortunatly

  24. cathyann says:

The staff and overall facility was wonderful. From our arrival, the front desk staff was helpful and provided excellent driving directions. The rooms were lovely and hte view was brillant! We enjoyed all the restaurants and particularly recommend the morning buffet. The evening dining was spectacular as the sunset over the city and the laterns were lit on the balcony. All service was prompt and very kind towards my teenage children. Highly recommend. PS: the pool was clean and great fun to cool down and still enjoy the views and fine service.

  25. R. W. and B. F. says:

My daughter planned the trip to Toledo especially for my visit to Spain
and the hotel was one of the most wonderful parts of the trip. The view
from the Toledo Parador is spectacular and we were on the top floor
where we could see lights changing color on the 500 year old cathedral
    down below in Toledo.

Our stay at the Parador could not be improved upon in any way as it was
wonderful. The food was delicious, the service immediate and the staff
    considerate and professional.

Thank you so much for the fine treat!

  26. BIADATTI says:

  27. David & Cathy & Family says:

Reception on arrival : efficient and professional.
The bedroom: large, comfortable, excellent bathroom.
The view from room : good views from upper floors, not so much from the lower floors – be sure to ask for a room with a “good” view.
    The public rooms : stylish.
The restaurant : good breakfast; other meals too pricy.
    Any noise : quiet.
Location of the hotel makes it hard to access the city without a car or a taxi. Pool is nice and lounging area nice with good views of the city.
City is great, but the Alcazar was closed for renovation.

  28. M.S. says:

My wife and I stayed at the following Paradores : Toledo, Carmona, and Segovia. All hotels excellent. Rooms very comfortable and spacious. Staff
helpful. Only problem for English guests is that we would prefer dinner
starting a little earlier than 8.30 pm ?
In previous years we have also stayed at other Paradores including :
Ciudad Rodrigo and Cordoba (x2). When booking accommodation at Paradores we are not always able to obtain
the discount rates for which we qualify. I also understand that it is
possible to obtain other discounts based on the number of visits to
Paradores but I do not know the conditions for such discounts !

  29. Leo Kerkhofs says:

This is sure one of the better Paradors, quit location, big rooms and balcony with wonderfull vieuws, good kitchen etc.
    But quiet unbelievable:
1:the pool is closed until 1 June, so if you arrive in May, the weather is hot and you think it’s summer , you only may look to that beautifull inviting swimming pool…
2:the information at the desk: us was told to take a taxi for going to and coming back from city center Toledo, there was no bus!
But at the rear side of this Parador there is a big hospital, and of course there is a good public bus connection to and from the city.

  30. Claire says:

The recpetion was wonderful and the service at the Paredore excellent.
We were very comfortable in our room and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. We enjoyed the pool and the terrace. The only improvment area is the food. We had higher expectations, but we would stay there again, just not eat there.

  31. Colleen Bezaire says:

My husband and I had 5 days at this Parador. The stay was comfortable. The staff at the reception desk were great. The room very comfortable, bathroom roomy, and the housekeepers top notch. The shower at 8-9 AM often turned from warm to ice cold, a multitude of times. This did not happen at 7 AM, but it did happen daily on a later shower. (8-9 AM) Not very acceptable.
The food was okay but not memorable. I did ask for hot water in Spanish rather than water hot in Spanish for a decaf. coffee. That took maybe 40 min. I feel sure the Spanish words for hot and water were understood.
The option for English news on 1-2 channels was always offered at the other Paradors we stayed at in Spain. We did stay in several Paradors in Spain, Madrid, Cordoba, Granada & Sevillia. They all were a little more exceptional.
The room was very quiet. We loved the view and we would return.

  32. GAILLIARD says:

Nous somme très satisfaits de notre passage et nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.L’accueil a été agréable.

  33. Darrell Hilton says:

Reception on arrival : efficient, friendly, professional.
The bedroom: large, comfortable, excellent bathroom.
The view from room : breathtaking.
    The public rooms : stylish.
The restaurant : excellent, best breakfast ever.
    Any noise : quiet.
The location of the hotel : out of town
    – so need to order taxi from reception..
Proximity to a town : taxi’s come very quickly.

  34. Steve and Doris Reynolds says:

The view from the Parador is almost the view El Greco painted. It is spectacular looking across at the city and down the river valley in front of the city. We cannot imagine a better place to experience Toledo. A car is necessary. We ate breakfast and dinner which were good but not exceptional.

  35. Jacov Levy says:

A very good hotel, even when compared with other Paradores. The view from the balcony is outstanding. The staff was warm and very helpful.
Next time we will stay longer.

  36. Jerry Weiner says:

We had a wonderful stay in the Parador in March. The room was spacious and very clean, the bed was firm. The room had a balcony, which overlooks the city. The service was excellent and friendly. We ate dinner at the Parador and enjoyed the meal and wine. Breakfast was included in our rate and was a buffet with a great variety of food choices. Paradores are in general excellent choices particularly if you can get one of the reduced rates. You need transportation to get to this Parador and visit Toledo because it is out of town although well placed in terms of the view of the city.

  37. Marion Finnegan says:

Had a lovely 2-day stay in the Parador in February. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The views from the bar terrace were fantastic! The only drawback is that it is quite a long walk into Toledo but the taxis are cheap (around €6) if you’re feeling tired. The views of Toledo from the Parador make the distance worth it! A great choice for a romantic break and I’d recommend it to anyone.

  38. DOUGLAS DALRYMPLE says:

    Hola,

We found everything excellent, we had no problems, all of the staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms clean and to the standard we expect of Paradors, and the food and service excellent.
The view was brilliant We were very pleased to have stayed and look forward to re-visiting in the future when we intend to stay for longer. We did not have time to visit Toledo properly so will do so next time
    Thank you
