We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2011. The reception staff welcome not very welcoming - just did their job. On Sunday morning we went down for breakfast at 7:30 as stated in the hotel brochure in our bedroom. The door to the dining room was blocked and the sign on the door said breakfast not until 8am. When I enquired at reception it seemed to be my fault - there was no apology for the room guide stating 7:30 - he said the time was posted in the lift and on the dining room door. When we then checked the lift it was not there! I asked for coffee but the reply was no.

Also, in the dining on our last evening. The service was slow and not in the order that people entered the room. Not very friendly service.

Finally, there seemed to be a strict rule of no food before 8:30pm - not even a snack in the bar area. We will not be returning.

A good stop over on the way to the south. Nice quiet rooms for a good night sleep after a first class meal in the restaurant. Went into town by taxi but car parking would have been easy. Town is very interesting and people very welcoming and helpful. Parador team really care for their guests.

We spent a quiet and excellent night at this parador and were satisfied with everthing. The only inconvenience of this location is that you have to take a taxi to get into town and it could be difficult to get one to get back to the hotel in the evening. The food in the restaurant was fine!

We found the Parador easily but like other visitors, we would not stay here again. The welcome was luke warm and no one made ant attempt to speak ernglish. The staff in the dining room made little attempt to explain what we were eating and appeared to be not interested in what we wanted. The food was really awaful and both my husband and myself were unable to eat it. Compared to other Paradors we have stayed in this was a real disappointment.

This parador was clean, easy to get to and convenient to one of our favorite places in Spain. But, we would not stay here again, we were not greeted warmly and no one seemed to be proficient in English. We sampled the Parador menu one evening in the restaurant , it was marginal. We wanted to eat in the village and there was no assistance with this. In contrast, we stayed at the Parador in Alcaniz, it was spectacular We felt welcome, the castle is great, lots of places to sit and have a drink after a long day of sightseeing in the area. One suggestion is to offer a more simple meal of sandwich or soup and salad. Sometimes it is nice to go light after a hot day of hiking or walking. We would try other paradores but research them more closely

This was a super Parador with a wonderful view of this part of Spain. We had no trouble finding our way to the Parador and enjoyed our meal on the veranda.

Excellent stay, our room was clean and comfortable, food was excellent. The only problem was fidning the hotel, this was difficult even for our STAT NAV and the distance into town requires a car ride or taxi.

We had a wonderful visit at the Parador Teruel. The only problem is the front desk said it was an easy walk into town and it is not. It is difficult and not easy. The room was great as was the service.

We stayed at the Parador at Teruel on27th august2009.The room was clean and tidy if not a bit small. We ate in the restaurant that evening.I have over many years travelled the world but I must say this was without doubt the worst meal I and my wife have ever eaten .Well we didn't eat it we left each course for which we paid 31 euro each.Ihave stayed in various Paradors but the chef here needs to be retrained.
