Parador Soria

The Parador of Soria’s high position gives it an extraordinary panoramic view of this monumental city and the river Duero. Its splendid windows overlook a unique landscape. Parador de SoriaThe spirit of the poet Antonio Machado, present all over the city, can be felt in the Parador too.
Most of the rooms enjoy peaceful views over the Duero valley, while the rest overlook the woods surrounding the Parador.

The modern restaurant comforts the traveller with Soria’s garlic soup and delicious haricots, and of course the local migas (breadcrumbs) and roast lamb.

They must have taken note of Allan Heskey’s comments because the reception staff were very helpful and the steak was excellent (much better than Parador Sos del Rey Catilico).
As a sufferer of gluten intolerance I have found that the Paradors provide an excellent service for coeliacs although the menu is understandably limited. In fact, in my experience, the understanding of the problem generally is good in Spain and it is a much safer place to holiday than France.

Stayed en route to Moraira and discovered this very tranquil parador with fantastic views from our room veranda. Staff were most helpful and coutious along with typical excelent Spanish food. Will certainly stay there again.

Stayed in October on route to Fuente De. Room very good, nice balcony.
Reception staff quite rude, and not helpful. Bar area good with good service and prices. Restaurant not so good. Looks like its run on a shoestring insufficient staff and an inability to cook steak correctly, not difficult.

Our 4th parador on this trip and the reception was the best. Very good explanation of the hotel and the local area as well as other benefits. We paid for a superior room and it was fabulous. The views were stunning and the room had everything we could have wanted. The breakfast was good and the evening meal good but the menu was very regional and we ate elsewhere on the second night. The town was nice to walk around and some of the buildings were beatiful but we most enjoyed our walk along the Duero.

What a wonderful way to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Our view was uninterupted and breathtaking. We like to try regional food and your restaurant certainly provided our palates with delicious flavors of Spain. The reception desk helped us plan our visit to Soria and also directed us to the next location on our agenda. Thanks for providing us the peace and quiet, the beautiful panoramic view and delicious food.
