Staff very helpful but found the rooms a little basic , restuarant excellent but drinks in the Gil Blas very expensive , very nice breakfast , would visit again,
Stayed Sun 25 July. Village amazing! Hotel was a little difficult to find except from the doorway of Gil Blas. The male receptionist was condescending and had to be asked twice to book a table for dinner. He told my sister that it was not necessary to have use of the garage. The receptionist in the morning was very pleasant and helpful. The room overlooked the forecourt and the only noise was some youths rounding up the statue in the square in the early morning, but that was because we had the window open to allow air in. The room was clean and comfortable. Food good and helpful staff although the bar in Gil Blas was a little difficult to get served and worse to pay the cuenta. I would like to visit again, but the Santander – Portsmouth ferry was so uninviting and that was the only reason we were in Calabria. Thank you.
We stayed in parador Santillana Del Mar for one night on our way visiting north Spain, The room was good windows towards the garden very quiet, we enjoy our meals and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We really love to stay more.
Excellent in every way, receptionists were most helpful and spoke good English. It was delightful to wake up in such an attractive village. Meal at Gil Blas was great with superb service.
Loved the village and the Reception was very good at the hotel. Room was extremely comfortable and view great onto the back of the hotel. I was very impressed with the hotel but feel that maybe the cost is quite high for what you get.
excellent place, very enjoyable with very good facilitties, service and atmospher. Room was super and we enjoyed it more than any other parador.
