This was our fourth Parador in four nights and while the hotel is pleasant enough, the meal we were served was a disgrace. The restaurant in the hotel is not cheap but that is not the point. This experience has really caused us to rethink future plans. We had to feel sorry for the waiters who served us

We enjoyed very much our stay at the wonderful palace of Pontevedra and taking dinner on the terrace in the garden in the evening. Only the night was extremely noisy till the morning hours. At the reception they said that groups of young people celebrated a weekend party in the open air, what occurs more and more often.

    worked perfectly.

An excellent stay in an interesting town. Parador was to the usual high standard with welcoming and helpful staff, good food and room. It is in a lovely building and we all enjoyed our time here very much.

  7. Rosie Brooke says:

We loved the town of Pontevedra and the parador was very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful, although the service at breakfast was erratic. There was only one waitress who kept disappearing. However, the breakfast itself was good and the bedroom was spacious and comfortable. I could not carry a laptop as we were walking from Tui to Santiago so some sort of access to the internet in the hotel would have been much appreciated. However, overall a very good hotel in a lovely town.
