We visited Melilla over Easter as an unusual way to enter Morocco. We were very happy with the Parador. The room was up to the usual standard we expect from Paradors and had a fantastic view over the city and harbour. The restaurant food was excellent and featured interesting local specialities. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Melilla itself was pretty well closed due to the Easter holidays but we did see a few religious processions that were fascinating. Going to Morocco via this route was very successful and we would recommend the experience.
