Parador Mazagon
Located in the Entorno de Donana Natural Park, the Parador of Mazagon stands in front of the ocean next to the extensive beach, in the middle of a pine forest.
A perfect place to enjoy the nature and the blue waters of the Atlantic.
The building has a splendid garden with heated open-air swimming pools, a gymnasium, sauna, jacuzzi, etc.
The interior is characterized by pleasant, cosy spaces with decorative details that add joy and brightness. Cosy rooms with terraces and beautiful views, comfortable function rooms and a magnificent swimming pool round off its facilities. The culinary offering of the hotel combines produce from the sea and the mountains; of note are the prawns, clams and king prawns, and from the inland the jabugo hams, steaks and Iberian pates.

Had a wonderful and most enjoyable vacation stays in many Parador’s located in several locations in Mazagon, Ayamonte, Carmona, Mojacar and Javea. We found the properties always well kept, quiet and clean. The morning breakfast feature was one of the best value for the money. All of these properties were situated in very desirable locations and the staff were friendly and efficient. Will be delighted to recommend the Parador’s to my family and friends. We loved it and plan to return. The beach, pool, and accomodations were lovely. We enjoyed all our meals there and found people very pleasant. If you want to visit Coto Donana, this is a great place to stay.
The hotel was lovely and quiet and the food good, the swimming pool beautiful and the park great The problem with the Parador Hotels is that they do not speak English at the Central Reservations Centre and in reception they also seemed to have difficulties to understand. It should also be noted that there are 170 steps down to the beach! The nearest village, Mazagon, is not very attractive and the sea was polluted.
Delightful setting, good restaurant and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately some of the front desk staff were not terribly friendly and generally avoided eye contact when a cheery smile and a greeting would have cost nothing but counted for such a lot. When we asked for assistance in booking an English speaking tour of the National Park, this was clearly very hard work for the somewhat impatient and brusque lady we spoke to and we were made to feel as if we were a nuisance. The best international customer service standards have clearly yet to reach this otherwise very attractive but rather pricey Parador.
