Parador Manzanares
The Parador of Manzanares is located on a La Mancha-style estate in the town of Manzanares, between three of the most beautiful natural parks in the country:
Cabaneros, lnas Lagunas de Ruidera and las Tablas de Daimal Natural Parks. Trees, bushes, gardens, and plants impregnate this place with greenery, and with its swimming pool make for a very appetising setting within the La Mancha countryside.
The public spaces and the rooms of the hotel contain wooden furniture, leather chairs and forged wall lights which contribute to the affable and cosy atmosphere. And located in the Rotonda hall, the new Azafran restaurant offers an attractive buffet with food cooked in front of the customer, where you can enjoy migas del pastor (shepherd’s style breadcrumbs), La Mancha suckling lamb shoulder, cod tiznao and pisto manchego (fried mixed vegetables).
Information and reservations at Parador of Manzanares

We stayed in Manzanares in april 2010. We had a wonderfull stay, pleasant room and good food.
We enjoyed Manzanares very much however, we were not told in advance that the swimming pool would be closed, and one of our main reasons for choosing Manzanares was the thought of a nice swim after a long hot drive from Burgos, via Madrid. Also the noice from the adjacent Autovia was incredibly loud.
This Parador is very convenient, being just off the main road south from Madrid. It is comfortable without being lavish, but it does not enjoy the wonderful surroundings of some other Paradors. The staff were friendly, and it was good for a one night stay.
We found the parador in Manzanares to be delightful, the staff were cheerful and helpful, the room spacious and sunny, and the restaurant served good food which we ate too much of.
However, it must be said that there is some evidence that things are not all they should be. We enjoyed the pool but would have enjoyed it more had it been cleaner, the noise from the Autovia was at times very loud but not in our room fortunately, the bathroom could have been cleaner, the grounds were showing some signs of neglect (weeds etc). In short the hotel needs more loving attention.
I would still recommend it as an overnight stay.
We always enjoy our stay at the parador in Manzanares and as usual we were very comfortable, our room was lovely and the food very good. Thank you
