Parador Malaga Golf

Sea, golf, fried fish and other Andalusian specialties are combined in this Parador de Malaga del Golfhotel which has spacious rooms with beautiful views over the sea, the swimming pool and the golf course.

Golf is its emblem: an 18 hole course, golf school, 3 putting greens, 2 approach greens, club, trolley and buggy hire.
The Malagan monkfish soup and the peasant-style French toast are some of the specialities of the Parador Malaga del Golf.

I had a very good holiday in malaga parador and Golf.
Very Good pool, restaurant, room and staff!
I think I ‘ll book again another hotel of paradores group ( or the same if I’ll come back in malaga) for my next trip in Spain.
    From Italy with love…

Convient for airport (pity its in the flight path). Great staff, food and lodging. Easy to walk to Torremolos.

Can’t agree with Mr Marsden’s comments re. need for a car. Less than 10 mins walk away is a railway station which will take you to central Malage in 20 mins for £2 return or to the airport in one stop.

Our stay was excellent, marred only by the price and lack of atmosphere in the restaurant and the bizarre closure of the bar at midnight!. Surely they must be aware that most people in spain eat and drink late and that by midnight the locals are only just getting into their stride.

    Not impressed.
Hotel , by far does not resemble a 5 star status,No facilities.
Evening meal. Designer food at very high prices, not many people dine there. Your lost without a car.
Would not recommend this hotel unless you are an ardent golfer.

  5. Discount Golf Gear says:

This is the nicest “golfing” hotel we have ever stayed in. The rooms were spacious and the food excellent. The course was out if this world too.

    We’ll be back next year!!!

Have to say this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, the golf course is a dream the service is wonderful, and the surroundings, well words could never describe quite how good they are.

  7. Ruth rochell says:

We spent 2 nights in your hotel and enjoyed the place very much. The room as well as the food deserve the utmost compliments. The only thing which should be changed is your instructions for self driving which are misleading. Perhaps you should add another sign showing the exact direction next to the circle. Still, we would certainly recommend your place to our friends.

  8. Andrew Ennis says:

Lovely views, extremely comfortable rooms, very friendly and efficient service. This is the second time we have stayed in this Parador and we will come back again soon !

  9. Brian & Kay Nolan says:

We spent 2 nights and days of the new year in the Parador Malaga Golf,
Excellent large bedroom with all mod cons. Patio with deck chairs was an
added pleasure. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. We felt relaxed
and pampered during our short stay. Dining room large and very good
service, tasty food to our liking.
Management should consider a minibus service to nearby airport.! ‘ It would be the iceing on the cake. We shall consider an extended stay on
    our next visit to Spain.

  10. Jay says:

We stayed for only one night, to be close to the airport for an early flight – however, we will happily return for a longer stay.
Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, well-equipped, scrupulously clean; public areas attractive, and the grounds are lovely.
We had an excellent evening meal, with complimentary fino and canapes, and very pleasant service.
    An amazing spread at breakfast-time.
We didn’t find the noise from the planes bad – it wasn’t too frequent, and, once inside, the rooms are well sound-proofed.

One thing we did notice was that some of the staff were polite enough, but distant at first – however, as soon as we smiled and spoke nicely to them, they were really really pleasant and friendly, so maybe they have just got fed up with too many awkward customers!

One of the most famous hotels in Malaga, visit Parador de Gibralfaro as well.

  12. Bethany Reid says:

Fantastic hotel. Beautiful views from the rooms and the pool. Food in the restaurant was lovely. Friendly staff and very good connections to the airport.

  13. Willem Reker says:

Parador Malaga del Golf, a perfect starting point and finish for an Andulusian Parador Tour. Good kitchen, friendly and helpfully staff, especially the reception. Very good rooms in the new wing. The aeroport is nearby, you have to accept the landing planes.

We recently stayed here and found the room lovely with a patio that led out to the pool. All rooms have a balcony and all overlook the pool area which was always quiet with available sun loungers. There are free towels at the pool and its only a few paces to the beach. The golf area needs some thought as although you can book an ealy round the actual driving range isnt open to warm up till 1000am. Also you cant buy drinks till then so on a hot day with an early round you could do with taking your own supply. There is a shopping complex a short walk away across a busy dual carriageway .The catering staff were rather miserable and one actually let out a loud sigh when we asked for another drink however the reception staff and housekeepers were lovely and as the hotel isnt too large it was never too busy there.

Strangely modern hotel. Booked disabled room by mistake and had a bathroom big enough to play football in. Perhaps a ploy when booking!
Eerily close to Torremolinos but a pleasant walk into that town along the front.
Pool closed in April when we were there.
Staff really helpful, warm and friendly. Hotel quality of 5 stars standard and food matched that. Breakfast again buffet and gargantuan in range. Drinks fairly pricey but acceptable.
