What follows may be helpful. The published directions from the airport to the parador are confusing. It would be better to tell guests to take the main road from the airport to Sta Cruz, turning off at the roundabout signposted for Llos Lanos and Los Canarios, to take the turning for Los Canarios and drive to the 1st set of traffic lights (at San Antonio) and then to turn right at the lights and follow the main road for just under a kilometer. The Staff is very friendly and I feel like coming home as soon as I register at the reception. All is perfect,the rooms are comfortable and cery clean .The ambient is calm, the staff helpfull and friendly. The Breakfast excellent in a nice atmosphaere. Even that it rained " cats and dogs" before christmas I felt secure and protected within the walls. I surely will come back. Paradores are one of the nicest things Spain offers. The room was spacious, well-appointed and with a magnificent view of the ocean. The breakfast was generous and offered a wide selection of delicious foods. And the restaurant as quite excellent.
