We thought the hotel was fantastic, and Guadalupe is a really delightful place to visit. We had a really nice room with a balcony overlooking the outside restaurant, unfortunately when we returned after our evening meal we had very loud disco music coming from an outside disco, which was nothing to do with the hotel, but a phone call to reception and we were quickly moved to a quieter part of the hotel. We met the Manageress ( Neives ) and she was a real delight. She is a credit to the Parador Group of hotels. Although she was busy with a wedding party on the Saturday evening, when she discovered we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary she made sure that we were looked after in the restaurant. Thanks for a great visit

At the arrival an unfriendly man (reception staff) was observing with interest, hands in his pockets, how my wife tried to manage her heavy suitcase. No idea that he would help her.
A wonderful quiet room with a fantastic view, though at noon time, a man was walking around, down in the courtyard, with a noisy blaster.
A wonderful inside court. Unfortunately the coffee there was undrinkable, so we decided not to eat at your restaurant.
Very friendly and helpful room staff.
We would have enjoyed the pool, but in spite of the hot day it was not open, though full of water..
But the situation of your hotel is so magnificent that the negative points I mentioned did not spoil our stay in Guadalupe.

From memory we were very happy with our room and our reception
also the staff were very polite and helpfull.

We were less pleased with the evening meal and service in the
restaurant. It was not good value for money.

It was our first time there and it was splendid! Parking, no problem. The service at the bar was great and I had the best hot chocolate I have ever had. The room was spectacular and the breakfast outstanding. I will recommend your Parador to everyone.

We returned to our favourite parador on 6 August for (alas) only the one night. Difficulty in parking was swiftly resolved by a member of staff. The pool was most welcome after a hot journey, the room had a splendid view over the garden and roofs, dinner outside was excellent. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We returned to Guadalupe's parador after 22 years to find it still beautiful. We remember particularly the courtyard with its central fountain and lemon and orange trees growing. The view from our balcony of the towers and roofs of the monastery is fascinating and the sound of its bells very evocative. We hope to return again - but sooner than another 22 years!
