Our second stay here after 20 years! Stunning situation. Very pleasant reception. Lovely room. Dinner menu left a bit to be desired and the food was not good. This seemed to be our experience of dining out in Paradores this year. Good breakfast.

We found this parador very comfortable. It was well sign posted and is very well positioned with wonderful views from all the rooms, especially our bedroom. The food was excellent and although no one spoke english, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly use it again.

Road, view, parking and food -excelent as expected.
Noise – what noise? Just one floor board was sqeecking.
    Personnel polite and helpful.
NO AIRCONDITIONING in room, not even a ventelator and temperature over 30 degrees C.
Hotels usually give a map of the vacinity, so you get a better knowledge for finding your way to it -Paradores do not !!

Beautiful situation and a most pleasant overnight stay–one of the best dinners(regional dishes) my wife and I have ever had–would recommend this Parador very highly.

Yet another unique setting for a Parador to stay at on our return to the UK. The views are spectacular and the facilities excellent. Service was descreet and faultless.
Our only regret was to stay just one night as we do love walking.
We shall certainly return for a longer stay.

  8. John Knowles says:

This must be one of the most outstanding places to stay in Spain. A very well run hotel – friendly and helpful staff – excellent rooms and food and of course a glorious view from the bedroom balcony. Be sure to book a room with the view over the lake!

  9. Michael Beal says:

This was our first stay in a Parador. We had a very friendly welcome, our room was very comfortable and the view from the terrace before our evening meal was superb. The food was very well prepared and all the staff in the dining room were very efficient and helpful. Our superb breakfast the next morning would suit any taste. Throughout, the Parador was clean, tidy and well organised. The information for walkers or guests staying in the area was, again, very comprehensive.
Check-out was very well organised and smooth. This will not be the only time we stay at a Parador and are looking forward to the next one.

  10. Christine Urquhart says:

We enjoyed our first stay in a Parador – everyone was very helpful, the rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfast was superb. I thought the provision of information about walks in the area was very useful. The view in March of the snow on the mountains was fantastic.
