Comments Parador Cadiz
Parador of Cadiz is set in a modern holiday complex located in Cadiz’s old town next to the Genoves park. It overlooks the sea with a spectacular view over the Gaditana bay. It is in the residential zone of the city, surrounded by palm trees.
The hotel is an ideal starting point for exploring the entire region; from here you explore the Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos (tour of the white villages), the bull and wine routes, as well as the fishing villages dotted along its extensive coastline.
The bedrooms are spacious and light, and beautifully decorated, boasting calm and relaxing views.
There are many activities you can take part in outside of the hotel including boat trips or tours of the region. During the summer the hotel also organizes entertainment for adults: ballroom dancing to a live orchestra, magic shows, live music and various other shows every day of the week, as well as children’s entertainment.
Information and reservations at Parador of Cadiz

We stayed just one night in th parador. It is a wonderfull hotel in a great location. Easy acess by foot to the magnificent sights of old town.
When my husband and I stayed with our three student children, the combination of quiet spaces (for working), proximity to the lovely old town and a comfortable environment with excellent food suited us all very well.
I spend two nights at Parador Cadiz, i was happy with the ocean view, stunning sunset
Superb breakfast – great variety. Location of room disappointing – tucked into a side annexe, restricted view. Evening meal fine but I think Paradores should vary their menus more. Stopped at 3 Paradors and menus virtually identical. Liked the complimentary sherry. Also appreciated ” Offer” when we left but why do other Ps not do a similar scheme.Overall a very enjoyable experience.
Spent three nights at the Hotel Atlantico recently with two small children. Our stay was very enjoyable.
The hotel is not five-star luxury, but it it was clean, presentable, spacious and pleasant, and had a certain quirky, old-fashionned appeal. Location was fantastic for exploring Cadiz.
Staff generally helpful. Pool area really nice. Breakfast excellent.
Our only concern was the poor quality of service in the bar/cafe. On the first day was waited a long time to be served before walking out. Staff seemed inexperienced, unmotivated and uncaring.
Would also note that 8.30pm is too late for eating with small children who have ususally been in bed for an hour by then! Shame – we would have liked to eat in the restaurant rather than having to eat our every night (not suggesting that that spanish culture should be changed just for us!)
We will visit Cadiz again and stay at the Atlantico. Liked it!
You are in the
We travel the world and enjoy staying at some of the best hotels…our expectations of the Cadiz Parador were modest and we were concerned whether we could find it in the first place and additionally if it was conveniently located for the old town.
We were extremely pleasantly surprised…..there were signposts to the hotel(Atlantico) on all the main routes into Cadiz…easy parking in the grounds(free)..and the hotel was literally yards(meters!) from the old town
Additionally the facilities and service were excellent…one of the best breakfasts around..and always smiling and helpful staff.
Not luxurious inside but very presentable..and the outside facilities superb…we felt could holiday in the hotel itself rather than just seeing it as a 2 night stopover.
We will visit again…Cadiz is a lovely non touristy city..well worth a visit
Beautiful location with excellent views. Rooms a bit dated and some noise from the room above. Most staff pleasant and helpful, but regrettably bar staff seemed inexperienced. Super breakfast which is included in the “golden days” price.
However it was a most enjoyable stay and would recommend hotel to my friends.
Loved Cadiz and the parador. The reception was very helpful and the breakfast excellent. It was a shame that the restaurant was not supported more in the evening as left atmosphere rather chilly.
Stayed for 2 nights.
1) All the staff I/We had dealings with spoke very good english. That covered reception, bar and dininng area.
2) Very good breakfasts. Busy but we didnt have to wait too long for a table.
3) Good location for exploring the centre of the “old area” of Cadiz.
4) Didn’t make use of the pool. It was a bit chilly, however the poolside area was a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the setting sun.
5) Underground car parking on hotel site s available at a price, however there are also parking spaces available at no charge in hotel grounds.
6) Would consider this hotel again, and I notice they have very good out of season deals.
We used the Parador as a base from where we played on various golfcourses in the Cadiz area.It is a nice place to come back after a round of golf and enjoy the relaxing quality and hospitality from your staff. Being right in the Cadiz centre one can visit the best of the town on walking distance and meet local people. In the special golf hotels you mostly meet foreighners and do not taste the real spanish atmosphere.
As for the restaurant we found good quality and competitive prices.
I suggest you should offer a package deal golf+hotel!
Kind regards.
Loved the parador and cadiz, sad to see the resteraunt so empty, perhaps a more casual and cheaper eatery would bring more diners and make more effective use of the staff.
