Parador Bielsa
The Parador of Bielsa is located in a welcoming mountain enclave in the eastern sloping Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. It was declared to be a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997 and is also a renowned area for enjoying sports and outdoor activities.
The fresh Pyrenees air, the clean waters of the river Cinca or the tradition of the Nuestra Senora de Pineta roman hermitage, will leave you feeling healthy, relaxed and calm.
The floors, walls, and exposed wooden beams and columns are filled with modern and accommodating furniture. Some of the bedrooms have spectacular views over this beautiful natural enclave.
The High Aragon cuisine contains strong flavours and seasoning producing simple but tasty dishes: migas aragonesas (fried breadcrumbs with sausage and grapes), Cinca river trout cooked in sherry, young roast lamb, wild boar stew and teresicas de Aragon (puff pastry dessert).

If there was any other way to wake up and look out the window, I’d like to know. Snow cap during the day, sun in the morning and France for lunch.
Perfect!
There were four of use trraveling together for three weeks. One of our favorite spots.
We enjoyed our stay at Parador Bielsa - beautiful views from the room. The room itself was in need of renovation especially the old old bathroom (which had a large crack right through the vanity basin). The food was ok bearing in mind that in order to eat elsewhere you had to drive about 20 minutes to the nearest town on a very winding road and even then, there may have been nothing open! Some very interesting and picturesque little towns in the vicinity.
What a different but gorgeous parador! The staff is unbelievably friendly and bilingual. The rooms and public areas are charming. The place had a very familial feel to it. They could use slightly better trail maps than the ones we got but the ones we got were good enough and we didn’t get lost! We suggested getting a guided tour to take a group in the mornings, which is surprising that they don’t do. The food was good (not the best we ate at the price but a great meal) but the scenery and temperature in late August was perfect! We were there after heavy rains so the waterfalls were magnificent. I would definitely go out of our way to stay again.
Fantastic decor of mountains all around, very nice room with a splendid view, and a very good service on the terrace also.
At the reception desk a very friendly lady assisted us and explained how we could get a permission from local authorities, to make a wonderfull offroad 4X4 trip in those local mountains.
One of the reasons why we will never forget Parador Bielsa.
Very good reception and information. Our room was very nice at the end of the corridor with good views. The food was extremely well presented and good value.
On the down side we were disappointed that the hotel’s smoking policy made it impossible for us to use the bar and sometimes the lounge was difficult because of smokers.
Apart from that we really enjoyed out stay!
The hotel is in a spectacular setting, we had a tough journey from Bilbao so were ready to sit on the terrace at the bar and enjoy a bottle of wine, surrounded by mountains.
The room was perfect, clean and spacious.
We really enjoyed our stay!
