Beautiful location. The staff was not friendly. The room were adequate but the bed was uncomfortable. The food was fair. i have stayed at many paradors. This one was subpar. Nice pool and grounds.

The location was stunning – Restaurant good but expensive – The Bathroom was full of ants (everywhere) especially the jacuzzi which also was filthy and full of scum. By next morning the bedroom was under ‘ant attack’ which is fine if you enjoy sleeping whilst insects are crawling over you. My main beef is when I have tried to make a formal complaint Paradore Head Office and Customer Services dont reply or just return standard e mails — ie the brush off

Your reception was courteous and helpful. Our room was very pleasant with the balcony, and the view over the river was spectacular. The public rooms are tastefully decorated. The restaurant was OK, but not spectacular. The town was easily accessible by taxi. We enjoyed an all-day river tour where we had a very nice lunch in a Portugal town. Also, I enjoyed swimming in your large pool.
