Arrived 10 July 2010 for 2 nights. On the second night it was the World Cup Final in which Spain were playing. We were very surprised to find no bars open, only waiter service in the lounge for the whole weekend. The pool bar was not open and the lower bar deserted of guests & staff. In fact there were ropes across the stairs to prevent guests going down to the bar. It seemed that the only parts open were the restaurant & reception. Rather disappointing for the middle of summer, even though it is probably more a winter sports hotel.
Notwithstanding the above, a charming hotel in a charming town with an excellent view of the mountains from the room. Food was OK.
Excellent atmosphere from the guests & visitors for the Final – especially since Spain won!!

Although we only spent one night at this Parador it was lovely, we were greeted by snow which had fallen for two days before we arrived which made it very picturesque especially over the surrounding mountains. The friendly receptionist showed us to our room which was spacious, well furnished and with lovely en suite. The location was quiet but only a short distance from the village. We would certainly recommend this hotel and stay again.

Having visited this hotel before I knew exactly what to expect and was not dissappointed. Lovely hotel, efficient staff, excellent facilities and in a great location away from Viellha. Thanks.

15-17 June. Spent 2 nights in this lovely Parador. Every member of the team went out of their way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. The kitchen produces excellent food, especially the local trout. The surrounding area is very beautiful and I can imagine magical when the surrounding mountains are snow covered in winter. Many thanks to all of the staff at the Parador.
