My boyfriend and I stayed in Arcos for 2 nights this past fall. The parador made our stay so nice! The weather was kind of rainy, so we had the chance to relax on our balcony with a nice bottle of wine and catch up with our friends back home using the wifi in the comfortable lobby and quaint hotel restaurant. The staff gave us a warm welcome every time we came back after a day of exploring. The view was breathtaking from our balcony and from the hotel restaurant. All of this with free parking too! It was a great experience and a definite highlight of our 12 day trip through Spain.

We had a wonderful experience in the parador. the room, the view from our rooms balcony, the food were all good. sorry, very good. the front desk personnel were very courtious and always accomodating. congratulations are in order.

Our group of 4 friends had two wonderful rooms. The staff were so friendly and the view from our balcony, spectacular. We experienced an incredible storm with winds howling all night but were cozy inside in our beds. In the morning, with the storm still raging, we enjoyed the amazing breakfast while watching the storm outside and then through the window in the cafe. IN the afternoon, we were able to explore the town from the great location. Pictures of clouds turning pick over the cathedral at sunset are favorites and staying at the parador was the highlight of the trip.

Our stay in September at Arcos de la Frontera was everything we have come to expect of Paradors – the situation, the rooms, the calm interior and the very helpful staff on reception; and dinner in the courtyard was a lovely experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in June 2011. Great location but the drive up was sporting due to a sat nav system that didn’t recognise one way streets and impossible turns. Coming out following the signs was ok.

My wife and I enjoyed our three-day stay at the Arcos Paradro in May 2011. Great staff, great room (nice view), and a very good restaurant on the site. The hotel is centrally located for walking trips, shopping and little bars, cafes and restaurants are plentiful. The drive up and down the hill to the hotel is difficult (very narrow streets with tight turns), but one learns to deal with it – we walked or took taxis. We would definitely stay there again. A good experience.

I agree with all the above regarding the view, and the setting in general. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and I would recommend the hotel strongly. It does need refurbishment. However, we went in February and there was a very limited “winter menu” which did not change. One night fine, but not more. There was a very good Italian restaurant just over the square.

The approach up the hills to the village and down again on leaving the hotel requires a small car and is not for the timid!

We had a wonderful stay here. The view from our balcony was breathtaking and we enjoyed watching a beautiful sunset. The food at the restaurant was very good, making our stay relaxing and perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at this Parador. The location is just outstanding, at the very top of the town, with a breathtaking view over the valley and excellently positioned for walks in the town. The internal decoration of the hotel is very refined and stylish, and the breakfast fabulous (and not only because of the view from the breakfast room). If you only want to visit one Paradores in your life, picking this one would not be a bad idea at all !
