Me and my friends stayed att the hotel in the middle of febuary and played golf for a week. We are very pleased with the hotel and its service. The only thing that wasnt good was that they had closed big parts of the tees on the golf course ,so it played much shorter than it should. The club must adjust that better. If a couple a holes are shorter then they can make it up and put the tees longer on other holes.

The place and surroundings were outstanding.
The food was particularly good. They also have a great wine selection.
The staff warm and friendly.
The facilities, including the swimming pool very good.
The rooms well furnished not too large not too small, although a bit noisy, as we could hear our neighbours’ conversations.
We’ll come back.

The building is astonishing! Rooms are nice and spatiose. The staff was not very kind to us – we had to leave at 7.45 in the morning and they refused to serve us any food before 8.00, though breakfast was included in our rate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jaen Parador. It was a long ride into town, but we managed to get in to see the cathedral. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We sat in the bar/lounge in the afternoon, and had dinner and breakfast in the dining room, a beautiful space with a magnificent tapestry.

Our view was great: mountains and olive trees and the city of Jaen. Our room was lovely, large and well-appointed. Our only issue was that it was cold.

The parador itself is in a magnificent setting overlooking a huge park and the city of Jaen.

To be brief, it iis an excellent hotel. We had a big room, wonderful evening dinner for the one night we spent there. But best of all, the night sky is amazing with so little light pollution. We will stay again next year and bring good binoculars.
Perhaps the hotel could be better geared up for stargazers. Maybe it should offer binocular and small telescope hire?

We stayed for one night on our way South, it is an easy journey from Santander. The manor house is in a very quiet situation and is very nicely presented. The town is well worth a visit and walk around. We had no complaints at all about food or service, dinner is not usually till late, you are in Spain! A good selection of regional dishes and its possible to have dinner for 33 euros.
Definitely would stay again.

Having visited Canadas del Teide many times during frequent stays in Tenerife we decided to spend a night in the parador this year (February) to get a better view of the stars. Unfortunately a full moon meant we didn’t see the stars as well as we hoped, but the view of the moon through binoculars was spectacular.

Any disappointment over the stars was outweighed by the joy of walking aound the Roque de Garcia at 8am, with the whole area to ourselves. Spectacular scenery, with just the birds to keep us company. Then back for a late breakfast – almost too late as most of the fruit had gone, but the waiter quickly produced a new batch for us.

A comfortable stay in a friendly hotel. We were surprised at the good range of food on the menu and had a very enjoyable evening meal. Very helpful staff, including guidance on where to see the best of the sunset – again a memorable experience seeing the sun setting into the clouds.

we stayed at the Parador for 4 nights in mid january, all we can say is: fantastic location, helpful and upermost friendly personal; still we appreciate very much the care of the desk manager (Teide) and the Bar manager(s) and other staff members who made our stay at the Canadas Parador memorable.
Our room was impeccable, clean, and big, although not with a view to the Teide; but with a view to the Alto de Guajara. (He, does not matter if you are anyway going up to the Teide and/or the Alto the Guajara). If you stay several days at this parador you might be able to inhale a bit of this unique environment

We began 2012 with a stay at this beautiful parador on New Year’s Day. We followed the signposts and had no trouble locating it high on a hill. We had a lovely, large room with canopy bed and beautiful, updated bathroom. Dinner in the large dining room was delicious. The furniture and artifacts throughout the parador were interesting and added to an authentic experience in Spain. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Sono stata ospite di questo meraviglio hotel con tutta la mia famiglia.
E’ situato in una meravigliosa piazza, di fianco ad una spendida cattedrale. Fin da subito l’accoglienza è stata cordiale e discreta. Ci hanna assegnato due meravigliose camere. La colazione è stata ottima ed abbondante. Ringrazio ancora vivamete lo staff che di notte si è prodigato in nostro aiuto quando ho avuto mio figlio piccolo con la febbre.
Consiglio a tutti questa storica e splendida struttura.
